Large expanse of safe, sheltered water
Over five square miles of safe, sheltered water. Sailing takes place directly in front of the clubhouse. Conditions are rarely too severe to prevent sailing.

Launching at all tides
Sail whenever you want. Sail more often.

Sea, river & estuary sailing
Variety is the spice of life, where else offers all three?

Easy launching
Sheltered launching with the
prevailing south westerly wind direction.

Three Blue Flag beaches
Sheerness was the first Blue Flag beach in Kent, which has now been joined by Minster & Leysdown.

Remarkably flat sea state
With the prevailing wind.

A superb cruising base
As illustrated by the arrows on the map above.

Perfect for performance boats
All the space you could want, and more! Experience the full potential of your performance sailing dinghy or catamaran.

Uncongested & unobstructed
Probably the least congested sailing in the South East. Free from obstructions like moorings.

Good water depth
Good water depth - only questionable for one hour around low water, but always deep to the north east.

Olympic courses all wind directions
Two Olympic size courses can be set off the clubhouse in any wind direction.

Higher than average air and
sea temperatures

More enjoyable sailing.
